Free Kids Music Shows at Lot 1 in Echo Park!

Dear Blob,

Musical Entertainer, The Ukulady, the alter-ego blog-blobbing through the supple, yet leathered fingertips of me, is thrilled to announce Free Kids Music Variety Shows at Lot 1!

A few years ago, I used to Saturday-jog past Lot 1 on my way to Elysian Park.  That's how I jog-met the awesome proprietors, Eileen and Jason.  I jog so I can snack and by the time I tasted Lot 1's ridiculously delicious grilled cheese,  my friendship with Eileen and Jason was sealed in the melty cheese and crispy meep. 

This Saturday, March 24th, The Ukulady, a musical entertainer for Kids, Humans, Robots & Woodland creatures, brings her band, The Evil Sandwiches, as well as guest performers, April Hava Shenkman, Rob Blatt & DJ Ace Spaceman, to Lot 1's performance space for the inagural The Ukulady & Friendsies PartyShowFun at Lot 1!

The show is conveniently scheduled after naptime at 4pm, with doors opening at 3:15;  late enough for a harried parent or kid-handler to feel ok about having a beer or glass of soothing wine, yet early enough for mini-humans to not be monster-creatures.  Snacks for humans of all sizes will be available! 

Campaigning for the Downfall of Evil, The Ukulady & The Evil Sandwiches play songs about Cobras, Zebras, Owls, Clams, Sharing, ButterflyRobots, Unicorns, Kindness, Epic Good 'n' Evil Battles and promote Creativity, Intellectualism,  Friendship and Fearlessness!

We are excited to produce a free community event for all ages at Lot 1 and grateful to Eileen and Jason for their enthusiasm and hospitality!
