The Ukulady reviews her own Kids MusicPartyShow at Lot 1!

Dear Blob,

Things are really Meeping, as in Rocking, at Lot 1 these days! Since no reviewer showed up to witness the bedazzled extravaganza of The Ukulady's PartyShowFun at Lot 1, I feel it is my duty, as a blobber, to report on the free Awesomeness for all ages!

The Ukulady, Evil Sandwiches & Friendsies, including ages newborn - grandma, raged like it was 1999 last Saturday afternoon at Lot 1's Music Room.  The Ukulady passed out Comedy Glasses to the mini-humans, who danced and joyously informed the room of newsworthy tidbits like "I have a dog at home!" and "I've got a little sister!", while snacking on Lot 1 nibblies.

The Evil Sandwiches, Bunny-Werewolf Don & The Ukulad on banjo, backed up The Ukulady on hits like Campfire Vampire, Weeble & Peanut & The Itsy Bitsy Spider (free download available now!).  Professional Dad, Rob Blatt, led the room in a rousing On The Road again and Magician Jared wowed the kids with Magic Water!

Gibberish enthusiast, April Hava Shenkman introduced her plaster pet Pig and every child touchingly, snuggled the inanimate object. The Ukulady's newest puppet, Monsieur Senor Le Corndog, Master of Linguistics and host of Let's Play a Gameshow! had his world premier with his handler, the Corndog Vendor and all kidhumans received a prize!

The show is organized chaos, with a broken 4th wall and is constantly evolving.  I hope more parents & kid-handlers take advantage of this Not-To-Be-Missed FREE extravaganza of music, snacks, puppets, comedy & surprises!  Peeps over 21 can drink beer and wine and all humans can indulge in Eileen's savory snacks! What's not to love?  Our next show is May 26th,, after naptime, at 4pm.

In other news, everytime I am at Lot 1 I am intrigued by their tasty-sounding menu items, like Fried Eggwich with Arugla and BLT, but continue to be captivated by their hefty, umami-tastic grilled cheese.

Eileen and Jason, proprietors of Lot 1, may be the hardest-working peeps in the EP.  There are so many adorable options in EP, these days, to enjoy a beverage and snack and I favor the community-oriented, artist-supporting Lot 1.

Hope to meep you at the next Free Ukulady's PartyShowFun at Lot 1 for all ages!

To The Downfall of Evil!
Love The Ukulady

ps:  Will someone please rent the empty storefront across from Lot 1.  It's prime location for something like an awesome coffeeshop!  Echo Park really needs an early-morning Good coffee grab'n'go!
