Fans of the Silver Lake Reservoir path know what a resource this inadvertent park has become for our community.
With the sidewalk along Tesla nearly complete, it's even more hospitable to the running and walking and schmoozing we love.
Thus, Sunday's 2nd Neutra Run/Walk for Health could not come at a better time.
Starting at 7 a.m. runners and walkers will gather across from the Neutra VDL House on the Meadow for a one lap (4k) or two lap (8k) race.
Entry fees start at $25 and will benefit the Neutra VDL House on Silver Lake Boulevard.
According to Dion Neutra, architect Richard's son, this edition of the biannual event commemorates the start of the Neutra Practice in 1926 and Dion's 86th birthday.
Other events during the day include a house tour, wine and VIP reception.
As Neutra notes, all to benefit preservation and the VDL house.
