Blog: Indoor Playground Helps Silver Lake/Echo Park Kids Grow

As a mother of two, Cherie Bolger always wanted to provide a safe environment where her children could play and develop their social and motor skills. Scouring the neighborhood for options Cherie quickly realized Silver Lake was lacking in this area. And then it dawned on her: what kids and parents of the neighborhood need is an indoor play area. With her vision and the skills of her contractor husband Naya’s Garden was born.

Naya’s Garden is an indoor playground for growing kids located in Silver Lake (across the street from a handful of yummy restaurants which comes in handy when you’re leaving Naya’s Garden around dinner time.)

Upon entry you are greeted with a friendly hello and a quick reminder of their no shoe policy. Socks are required for parents and kids. But,  but don't worry: if you forget you can purchase a pair for a small fee.

The space is simple yet inviting and provides a variety of activities for the kids that range from romping around in a giant maze with a ball pit, a race to the top of the climbing wall, bouncing around in the bouncy or playing house in the tree house. What makes this space really unique is the shaded outdoor space equipped with built in benches and picnic tables. (Yes, the kids get fresh air too.)

And get this - you can rent Naya’s Garden for your little ones birthday party. The weekends are dedicated to hosting birthday parties so on Saturday and Sunday the space is closed to the public.

Private party renters have 4 options to choose from. The basic package includes:

   -Exclusive use of Naya’s Garden for 2 hours

   -Party coordinator

   -Party assistant to help in set up and clean up

   -Price includes 20 Children (Additional children are $10 extra)

   -Unlimited Adults 

The crème de la crème package includes:

  -Exclusive use of Naya’s Garden for 2 hours                     

   -Party coordinator                                                                

   -Party Assistant to help in set up and clean up                                 

   -Price includes15 Children (Additional children are $15 extra)                 

   -Solid paper goods and utensils

   -2 Large Cheese pizza (10-12 parties pizza will not arrive until 11:30)

   -Personalized Birthday cake

   -15 Juices

   -15 Party favors

   -1 dozen balloons with centerpiece

   -Assorted Fairy and Bugs wings for dress up

   -20 Naya's Garden invitations and 20 thank you cards

   -Unlimited Adults

“Optional Trimmings” are also available and range from the birthday cake being provided to extending your party time.

Naya’s Garden is a fun-filled hang out joint for parents and their young ones.  The garden is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
