Vote: Neighborhood Council Elections Today

The six neighborhood councils in the Echo Park, Silver Lake and Los Feliz areas hold their elections Saturday. Click through for information about the candidates and where to vote.


Six neighborhood councils in the area area will host elections Saturday, with preliminary results expected soon after voting time.

Anyone who is a stakeholder in a community is eligible to vote. That includes residents, business owners and others activite in that community.

You must present some proof of your residency, ownership or involvement before voting.

Some candidates are running "at large." Others represent specific areas. Click through on the candidate info links below to see what positions are open and who's running.

You can also get exact boundaries for each council and its regions.

Most councils are conducting polling between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., except Echo Park and Atwater Village, where the polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Preliminary results are expected soon after closing time, with a five-day challenge period to follow. Then the results are certified.
