Police Seek Weapons Taken From DTLA Building

Dozens of weapons, including submachine guns, were taken from an unguarded building downtown at 14th and San Pedro streets.

The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for the SWAT weapons stolen from a downtown building last week.

The Los Angeles Times says the building was located at 14th and San Pedro and was going to be used for training that day.

The guns had been altered to fire blanks. But police worry they will be converted back.
