Heading into Los Feliz, Atwater or Griffith Park in the evening is usually pretty easy after rush hour traffic ebbs along Los Feliz Boulevard near the 5 Freeway.
But it could be slow going starting Tuesday night as Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews put the finishing touches on repaving related to the new River Supply Conduit Improvement Lower Reach – Unit 4 water pipeline.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection of Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the next five nights.
Workers will be working overnight to minimize the impact of the construction.
The LADWP is urging drivers to slow down when going through the area.
