Screen Shot: Sunset Junction Says Refunds Will Take Time

The fair posted the accompanying message on its Facebook page Wednesday evening, just hours after the city denied the event a permit due to nonpayment of fees.

The Sunset Junction Street Fair, which failed again in its attempt to get a permit from the city, posted the accompanying message late Wednesday on its Facebook page.

The message reads:

As of now the web site, is down. Tickets/vendors money will be refund[ed], it will take some time to clean up this mess. Hope everyone understands.

The move came just hours after the city denied the fair a permit for the second time in 48 hours. The stated reason was the fair's continuing nonpayment of fees for police, trash pick up and other city services.
