A man shot in the leg near Los Globos nightclub early Sunday in Silver Lake is doing fine, according to Sg. Michael Mabie of LAPD's Rampart Division.
The man had come out of the club and was walking on the south side of Sunset Boulevard near Vendome Street at 2:42 am.
He then passed another man on the street and challenged him to a fight.
That man shot him in the right leg, and fled on foot.
The victim was taken to USC Medical Center.
No description of the suspect is yet available.
But Detective Ito, who is handling the case, told City News Service that surveillance video from the club is being reviewed.
