Lots of Officers to Be at Dodger Opening Day

Both Los Angeles Police Department and General Services Police Department personnel will be on hand.

Most think we won't see another Opening Day like 2011, when Giants fan Bryan Stow received a beating that still leaves him unable to walk.

GSPD officers have jurisdiction over the city's parks, but work in tandem with LAPD officers.

According to the LAPD release, police and the Dodgers worked for months on a plan to ensure a fan-friendly Opening Day.

Locals with complaints can call the LAPD Command Center at either (323) 344-5707 or (323) 344-5708.
