Crime Blotter: Camera Equipment Stolen Near LA River

Early Tuesday morning, the equipment disappeared from a car parked near the bike path.

Car break-ins happen frequently in the areas of Silver Lake and Echo Park along the Los Angeles River.

One recently happened on June 13 in the early morning, in the parking lot behind a group of artists lofts at 1839 Blake Street.

The LAPD’s Northeast Division is investigating the case.  They say the suspects must have jumped over the fence from the L.A. River bike path and back out again.
