A court date has been scheduled for Ian-Remy Schlesinger, 24, charged with the murder of Silver Lake resident Ivan Pedroza on July 30.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department Web site, Schlesinger is set to appear on Nov. 9 in Los Angeles Municipal Court, Division 33.
Sheriffs Department officials said Schlesinger is still being treated at County USC Medical Center for shooting injuries sustained in a shoot out with police after a televised car chase on Sept.11.
He is also charged with a parole violation. His bail is now set $7.585 million.
It is still unknown what other charges he might face in connection with the chase and shoot out, as well as the carjacking that prompted it.

The LAPD's Use of Force Division had been handling that aspect of the case, with Rampart detectives assigned to the Pedroza murder investigation.
According to police, its not unusual for a prisoners remaining in the hospital to go to court as long as they are able.
Schlesinger, a known member of an Echo Park gang, received multiple gunshot wounds in a shoot out with police at the corner of Bixel and 7th streets, just west of downtown L.A.
According to Rampart detectives, Schlesinger was released on parole after four years in prison this past April.
A known local gang member, he was not allowed to visit Echo Park and the surrounding area.
He was paroled to North Hollywood, where he carjacked the vehicle identified later in the day in Echo Park, prompting the chase.
His brother Jack was killed by Rampart police in a similar shoot out in 2010 on Temple Street.
