A week ago, Stevie Wonder’s surprise appearance at the Echoplex Sept. 10 was big news in Echo Park and Silver Lake.
In addition to singing and requesting Michael Jackson’s “Rock with You,” Wonder gave a big shout out to Steve Jobs and Apple for making its “technology accessible to everyone.”
“There’s nothing on the iPhone and iPad that you can do that I can't do,” he added.
“I can be talking to you, you can be looking at me, and I can be doing whatever I need to do and you don't even know what I'm doing.”
Washington Post/Tech Crunch has suggested that Wonder is referring to the iPhone’s VoiceOver function, which lets blind users hear what’s under their fingers.
