Why a place like the 101 Coffee Shop or Swingers isn’t in this notorious storefront is beyond us. It seems so obvious: quality food, later hours, lots of people who will return for that reason. Perhaps there is a zoning code or maybe the desire is not there? Maybe. But, really, have you been to the Sunset and Foutain Del Taco at 2AM? I have on multiple occasions. And it is always packed. And as if all the people there actually *want* to be there!
Even in Echo Park, the notorious Brite Spot shuts down at 3 a.m.
