Is Echo Park Losing Interest in The Dodgers?

Monday's news that Frank McCourt is filing for bankruptcy may be just too much.

Frank McCourt has put up a good fight, struggling to keep control of the Dodgers as cash flow and public relations problems mounted.

He had looked to a television deal with Fox Television to solve his payroll problems this month. But last week, Major League Baseball and commissioner Bud Selig put an end to that.

Now (Monday) McCourt has filed for bankruptcy. He says the restructuring will help him keep control of Dodger finances and, ultimately, the franchise. It could also give him to negotiate an acceptable TV deal.
