Brooklyn (Video)

Some say Echo Park will be like this in a few years. It's real-time video of Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg, hipster Brooklyn's main commercial street.

Gary Leonard sent us this, shot Sunday as he was vacationing in New York City.

It seemed particularly timely after food critic Jonathan Gold's

Echo Park-Silver Lake Patch editor Anthea Raymond lived in Downtown Brooklyn for many years.

So she's still puzzling over the reference.

Leonard, who shot the video, says it could refer to the many coffee shops, used clothing and record stores, and heavy tourist traffic along Williamsburg's Bedford Avenue--something he predicts could come to Echo Park in the next 3 to 5 years.
