Did you see the palm trees going up around Echo Park Lake Tuesday?

They were bundled up just inside the gate across from St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral early Tuesday afternoon.

Our Instagram alter-ego @la_nicola was there and captured this image, along with another of the trees on the move, presumably just before planting.
