'Fast and Furious 6' Hits Echo Park Skyline
The movie, some of which was shot in Angeleno Heights, arrives in late May.
Fast and Furious 6, the latest in the Vin Diesel-fueled car racing series, hits video-on-demand next month and theaters in June. But you can already see some fast and furious advertising for it in Echo Park.
A big billboard for the film has appeared on Glendale Boulevard, just north of Sunset Boulevard. We know that media buyers think very carefully about the billboards that appear here, and we're honored.

We take it as a nod to the Fast and Furious films' long history in Echo Park--at 718 and 722 East Kensington where FF1, FF4 and FF6 were shot.We wrote not too long ago about how carpenters rebuilt a garage no longer at that address just for a few days of shooting.
