Whole Foods to Come to Silver Lake in 2014
New market to open one year ahead of the downtown LA market.
Although it was confirmed in May that Whole Foods Market was going to be coming to Silver Lake, it is now set to open in 2014 instead of 2015, the Eastsider LA reported Thursday.
The store, to be located at 2520 Glendale Blvd will be opening a year ahead of the newly announced downtown Los Angeles market.
In 2011, there was a rumor Whole Foods was going to be built in Silver Lake. While that turned out to be a hoax, this year the rumor was confirmed after Rob Kallick of the blog Take Sunset, tweeted that Whole Foods will be taking over the Ralph's.

Whole Foods Market was founded in 1980 in Austin Texas and operates more than 340 stores in North America and the United Kingdom.
