It's an annual event, with a bracket as complicated as the NCAA Championships.
Notorious neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles face off in reader polls hosted by Curbed LA, the wonderful Web site specializing in real estate and development.
Silver Lake (and Echo Park) are often contenders and this year's preliminary rounds have brought it down to this: Silver Lake and Atwater Village.
The voting's open and continues until Jan. 2, 2013. As of Sunday, Dec. 30, Atwater was leading by a slim 52.2 percent margin.
Click through to see the full article and poll from Curbed and the rationale it provides for each neighborhood, though we detect a little bit of favoritism in the write up for Atwater Vilage.
