Need a plan for June 19? Patch has you covered.
It's a Los Angeles fact: Dads here love the Dodgers. So why not treat Dad to a game this Father's Day? All day long, Dodger Stadium is celebrating dads.
This Sunday, the Dodgers take on the Houston Astros at 1:10 p.m. for a home game. Get your tickets here. Attendees will score a special Father's Day BBQ Apron, courtesy of Farmer John.
There are also festivities before and after the game; come early for "Viva Los Dodgers," which live music, a beer garden, autograph signing and good food! Viva Los Dodgers begins at 11:10 a.m. Participants can enjoy Spanish broadcast of the béisbol game when it begins.

Immediately after the game, the field will clear so that fans can play catch with foam baseballs, also courtesy of Farmer John, for one hour. Catch on the Dodger mound with Dad? Sounds like a memorable Father's Day.
Top off your day with the Dodgers with an evening at nearby, historic Elysian Park. It's open until 9 p.m., is the perfect spot for a leisurely picnic picnic with Pops!

Elysian Park also offers awesome trails for hiking, like the Portola Trail or the Wildflower trail. There are 10 miles, in fact, worth of glens, grass, palm trees and other foilage to foray through in the wilderness of Elysian Park. This Los Angeles landmark is the oldest park in the county!
Watch the game, play ball, score an apron, enjoy a picnic, take a hike; it's the perfect Father's Day. Have fun, Echo Park Dads!
