Echo Park's Senor Fish Opens Softly
Still under construction, the restaurant opened Friday with just a few servers and no fanfare.
It's been almost a year since the venerable Mexican food chain Senor Fish first announced a move to Echo Park.

It was slow going, made worse by the bump the owners hit when they tried to remove the Quinceanera mural from the wall outside--local outcry. The artist eventually restored it instead.

Now, the restaurant is finally open and serving food, though work is still underway.
Alcohol isn't available, but breakfast is, starting at 8:30 a.m.
