The explosions occurred at 4 hours, 9 minutes and 44 seconds into the race. According to the race results listed on the Boston Athletic Association website, Leonardo finished with a time of 2:44:33; Esquivel at 3:14:42; Boosalis at 3:37:10; and Schoap at 4:03:49.

Runner's Circle is located on Los Feliz Boulevard just across the Los Angeles River from Griffith Park.  Runners affiliated with the shop often run the trails and fire roads there.

Five other runners from either the 90027 or 90039 zip codes are also listed in the database as entrants: Alex Brown, David Dassey, Alleyne Winderman, Medina Moises and Charity Rieck.

None are listed as completing the race.  Only three (Brown, Dassey and Winderman) are recorded having recorded a mid-point split.

Rieck confirmed Tuesday that she had not gone to Boston for the race.
