Submissions Sought for Worst Pot Holes in Echo Park

The Greater Echo Park Elysian Neighborhood Council this week is asking Echo Park residents to submit their picks for the worst local pot holes ahead of a December visit by the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services.

During the Dec. 5 visit, BSS will repair problem spots around Echo Park with emphasis placed on the top-voted worst potholes in the area, GEPENC said in an email. The repair efforts are part of a "neighborhood council blitz."

Residents wishing to submit a pothole repair request must do so by Thursday, Nov. 14 via an email request form. Alternatively, repair requests can be submitted in person at Tierra Mia Coffee from 7-8 p.m. on Nov. 13 only.

Request forms can be downloaded off the GEPENC website and submitted to info@gepenc.org.

GEPENC said that the top voted pot holes will rise to the top of the repair list for BSS. For those pot holes not repair on the Dec. 5 visit, BSS will make return trips at a later date.
