Possible Gang-Related Stabbing Leaves One Man Dead

An argument between two men escalated into a stabbing attack Sunday in the Echo Park section of Los Angeles, and one man was killed, a police officer said.

The argument between the two men occurred about 2:40 a.m. in the area of Clinton and Waterloo streets, said Los Angeles police officer Bruce Borihanh of the Media Relations Section

.The suspect stabbed the victim with a knife and ran away. Paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, Borihanh said.

The stabbing attack was believed to be gang-related.
