Mary A Allen, Neighbor

Mary A. Allen, a native Californian, proudly claims San Francisco as her hometown. After earning a BA degree in Psychology and Music Minor from UC Davis, Mary brought Northen California snobbery to Los Angeles in 1997 and feels at home in Echo Park with its cafes, hills, and hidden stairway walks.

An amateur writer for many years, Mary has recently contributed to a variety of blogs and web content providers. She also publishes her own blog, Metro Mary and is a proud contributor to Echo Park Patch.

In between freelance writing and the essential "day job" Mary dabbles in the performing arts.  Her current obsession: stand up comedy.
