Typical Democrat wanting to spend money like Brown’s crazy train. What is an early warningRead More system.. “brace for shock” ? What we need is an early warning system that warns us before a Democrat / Liberal opens his month.

Wow! Talk about Brown-Obama-Democrat Cronyism. Not only can the system be built and installed forRead More less than $500/node, it already has. I helped with one of the nodes with-in the past four years. The system (requiring less than 25 sq.ft. (donated) can be set up similar to a Home WiFi Security Cam with FTP access. Really it can be automatically monitored and maintained for free through a cooperating University. This is merely a $16 million a year hornswoggle going into the crony's pocket. Its dirtier than greedy profit. All that, lying cheating and stealing on top of it. Republicans in office don't deserve to be there because they do not study and know about the communities they represent or what they have already (and recently) funded. They are not doing their jobs in a two party system. Having formerly worked for the DNC the only thing good I can say about democrats is they at least learn their constituencies well enough to manipulate them.

These must be the same people who advocated for the freedoms of the mentally ill and set them looseRead More to walk the streets unsupervised and unmedicated.

Who gets to decide who gets to vote? Medical Doctors? The problem with that is they could also putRead More their biases into it and not allow people to vote based on their politics. And, the complicated issue of being able to get a doctor's note in order to vote is a inconvenience that other non-disabled do not have to go through. It is clear out discrimination. This is way different than asking someone for an ID. I do believe that should be done. But asking the disabled for a doctor's note is going too far. That is against their civil rights.
BiteMeFanBoy1 July 13, 2014 at 09:53 pm
And so is the advocation of allowing a doctor to decide if one is mentally fit to own a gun... IfRead More you support one you must support them both...

This seems like good news, but what I want to know is, Where is the water coming from? Who or whatRead More will have less water if we have more? Will less water get to Mexico? Have Los Angeles County residents already reduced their water usage by 20%, in response to declaration of drought earlier this year? If not, why should we get more water….to waste????

Does the LAPD have access to the same databases as ICE? If not, wouldn't we be risking having someRead More very dangerous people here and the LAPD wouldn't know... If the person detained has no record of criminal activities then there is nothing to worry about is there? Man this really makes me sick. Reading these articles really tells us just how many mentallyRead More challenged, sick, deranged and misled idiots we have in our society. These numb nuts are all about selling out America and opening our borders to every illegal out there. If they had it their way, there would be no borders and the masses would come flooding in. That's never going to happen. I can tell you this, the next presidential election will be heavily focused on this issue and all of you who value this great country should tune in and vote in the right canditate for the job. That would be the one speaking out against illegal immigration and providing a plan to deal with the issues in a timely manner. Democrat or Republican or other. Doesn't matter as long as we elect the key people who will make sealing our borders and removal of these illegal criminals a priority. They really need to start enforcing our laws and deport the masses. I don't know about you but I'm really sick and tired of all of this crap. Oh yeah, by the way, they need to amend the current ridiculous practice of legalizing the offspring of anyone that is not a U.S. citizen who manages to illegal make it to our country and drop a kid. That will also help curb the problem. The Chinese baby mills in Chino Hills and elsewhere will cease to exist if we do that. I really find it hard to believe that this can happen.

Identity theft (for example) is a HUGE problem, and what's encouraging it are the already lightRead More sentences for the very few who are caught. So how can the answer to this problem be even lighter sentences yet? i get the feeling that the "community" most responsible for identity thefts are behind creating the lighter sentences. I've been wondering lately, why are we releasing major crime criminals to clear the crowding in ourRead More jails when it would be more effective to put petty crimes out on community service...at least the jails would have room for major crime housing and maybe the community would save money on clean up and such.

When are we going to start going after employers of illegals? If they could not work and if weRead More stopped aid to illegals, the magnet would stop working. As it is now, they know that they cannot starve and have many ways to get free food and services. They are all but totally ignored by law enforcement. I have had two illegals crash into cars of mine. Both times the police departments were given license numbers but could care less. One got angry with me (Azusa) and told me no report would be taken.

"Reducing greenhouse gas emissions" is about as comical as "manually adjusting theRead More tides". But I have to admit that it serves to provide job security for the politicians, and it creates the ruse under which to extort money from businesses. Keep it up, CA, and see where we wind up in the long run... Fires & floods will be moot, when there is no business and no tax base here anymore.

The last thing that is needed at the river is another park. There are a bunch of "parks"Read More along the river and they get little use. They are vandalized, as is the Sunnynook River Park, and used only by gangsters and others they were not intended to be used by. The little "park" there along the river at North Atwater get very little use so why waste money on another park. What could be going on here is that the River Revitalization Corp., which is not about the river but rather a bunch of wealthy individuals making money, could be trying to push this through without public input so that they could a bicycle rental facility and "cafe" on the site. Neither of these things are needed at the river and would not even pay for themselves. As their really are no better options that MO and his co-horts can find they should leave the facility as it is.
Tony Taylor June 25, 2014 at 09:08 am
The LA River will never be the destination spot that these money people think it will be. Note that this law would NOT have stopped the Isla Vista shooting because the parents did NOT callRead More the local mental health agency as well as the police. Note that by failing to check the California gun registry - available in every patrol car - they would not have even considered issuing such an order because they didn't think there were any firearms in the area - and neither did his parents, apparently. This is the worst kind of government intervention. Government should not be in a business to huntRead More down non profit organization, including health organization.
