Subliminal Projects Gallery was conceived as an arts collective in 1995 by Shepard Fairey and Blaze Blouin. It opened in 2003. The multipurpose art space is located on West Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park and features regularly scheduled exhibits of graphic art, illustration, photography and time-based media.
