The Angelus Temple is a beautiful art deco building located next to Echo Park. The church was founded in 1923 by Aimee Semple McPherson. Since then, the congregation has welcomed the digital age and vastly increased its congregation. The current pastor, Matthew Barnett, offers services on Sundays and Thursdays. There is also a Tuesday youth service. The church is located in a classic auditorium that seats well over 1,200 people. Ample structure parking is available, and the church also runs bus services from various locations on Sundays.
