Week Ahead: Veterans Day, Los Angeles IPA Festival

Here are five things to start off your week in Echo Park and Silver Lake:

1. Today is Veterans Day. A big thanks to all who serve from all of us at Patch. For those in the military, be sure to take advantage of some freebies and discounts at restaurants on Veterans Day. See a list of restaurants offering free food and discounts here. 
2. Echo Park's Mohawk Bend will host the Los Angeles IPA Festival this week, Nov. 16-17. The beer festival, which will tap more than 60 hoppy California IPA's, will also feature a competition and judging for best IPA. Find out more on the festival's website.
