Silver Lake, Los Feliz Landscape Inspires Fantasy Film Map

British design collective Dorothy gained fame earlier this year when the band St. Etienne put Dorothy's Song Map on its latest album.

Now Dorothy has dropped a Film Map that looks familiar--indeed, it looks to be based on Silver Lake and Los Feliz.

Check out the screen shot above where Reservoir Dogs is featured prominently, along with Jurassic Park and Nightmare on Elm Street.

Were they the Silver Lake Reservoir, Barnsdall Park and Virgil Avenue in a former life?

We find Dorothy's choice compelling, given the area's history as the first center of the film industry.
