Tour Echo Park Lake Construction on Aug. 16

Early last month, we got the official word: the Echo Park Lake rehab was on track and would be done next spring. 

Many of us have also monitored things in our own way,

Now, on Aug. 16, we'll be able to go inside the gates and get a really good look.

The citizens committee created to advise on the project is hosting a tour at 9 a.m.

Hard hats and construction vests will be provided, though visitors should wear sturdy shoes.

Clark says they plan to accomodate everyone who responds by Aug. 10.
