Pizza Pub Crawling in Echo Park

National Vegan Pizza Day was in full bloom Saturday afternoon as local pizzerias rolled out the dough.

We munched on the designer vegan pizzas served at Mohawk Bend and Masa this afternoon, and I wasn't alone.

First up: Mohawk's Ratatouille vegan special is a delicious pie of roasted baby squash, zucchini, eggplant, cherry tomato, arugula, and fennel 12.

To finish: Masa's California veggie deep dish style vegan special with sun dried tomatoes and spinach sure hit the spot.

Looking forward to next year's vegan pizza crawl already.
