Hasroun is the the driving force behind the event, and he's probably the right guy to do it.

Not only is he president of the Atwater Chamber of Commerce.

The Syrian-born entrepreneur owns 55 Degree Wine and Link N Hops. The wine store/wine bar and brew pub sit next to one another in the minimall Hasroun had built at 3111 Glendale Boulevard.

The festival will take place just outside, at the intersection of Glendale and Glenfeliz Boulevards.

Hasroun grew up in the area and is extremely well-liked by both the old time Atwater population and the new wave of hipsters coming in.

Hasroun told us that he sees the festival as a way to bring all that--and the neighborhood--together.

VIP tickets are sold out.  But $30 general admission tickets remain. They are $30 if you buy in advance, they go up $10 if you purchase day of.
