Road Closure: Hollywood Half Marathon to Hit Echo Park, Silver Lake, Los Feliz Saturday
In a touch of LA Marathon deja vue, Sunset Boulevard will be closed from Park Avenue to Hollywood Boulevard during the morning.
The city's newest long-distance running event takes over local streets Saturday, prompting street closures.
The inaugural Hollywood Half Marathon & 5k/10k will bring runners as far east as the Brite Spot on Sunset Boulevard.

By the looks of one map--and the street signs we've seen--it also looks like the runners will head north up Silver Lake Boulevard and the past the Silver Lake Reservoir.

Signs like the one posted above warn to expect street closures from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m., though organizers appear to be saying that Sunset could open by 9:30 a.m.
Apparently the original route of the race included Universal City and some hillier climes, but was rerouted to the flats and our area.
