Shotokan Karate Academy has been teaching only authentic traditional shotokan style of karate for more than 16 years. Shotokan Karate Academy is a non profit organization.
The aim of SKA is to propagate and promote the legacy of the late Master Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of shotokan karate.
We believe that karate is an excellent form of exercise that keeps the mind and body healthy. Body flexibility developed as well as the cardiovascular endurance. In addition to physical benefits that you get, you also learn self defense which may be useful in certain situation. Through karate training we develop self confidence and good character.
In July 2000, SKA became an international organization when it opened its chapters in the Philippines. At present SKA have branches in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Our staff instructors are very competent, combining youth and experience. Likewise, all SKA blackbelts and instructors are duly registered with the world renowned Japan Karate Association in Tokyo, Japan.
