Curiousity continues over the now-several-years-empty pool along side the 101 Freeway.
The facility next door and the lake across the street are getting facelifts.
But there's no sign of change at the the outdoor facility.
Indeed Rec Center Director Dan Hammett recently confirmed there are no plans to open the pool this summer.
Locals will have to content themselves with the award-winning Echo Park Adult Pool or maybe the Griffith Park Pool over at Riverside Drive and Los Feliz Boulevard when that opens for the summer.
