This day long conference will introduce DV professionals to a philosophy and practice based on empathy and compassion.

Who should attend?
Parent Educators, Case Managers, Child/Women Advocates, Therapists, Domestic Violence Counselors, and Volunteers
Topics include:
* Implement of trauma informed care for clients and children.
* Teaching the practice of mutual respect, mutual understanding, honest communication, trust and caring.
* Providing hope and reassurance to families in distress.
* Nurturing the mothers’ ability to be compassionate towards themselves while caring for and guiding their children from
trauma to healing.
* Understanding the protective
factors for strengthening families, including resilience, emotional competency, and child development.
