The American Red Cross Los Angeles Region and California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA), partner with Emergency Kits 4 All (EK4A) to host P.U.P: Prepare Ur Pet.
This event aims to aid pet owners in being ready for disasters by offering step-by-step guides on how to prepare. P.U.P: Prepare Ur Pet is a free event, opened to the public and will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at .

- How to make a plan of evacuation for animals
- Which places allow pets during an emergency
- How to calm pets during stressful conditions (live demonstration)
- What the Echo Park community can do to further prepare
There will also be a Q & A session where the audience can ask questions specific to their pet’s needs.
