Students will wear numbers and run laps around the track for as long as they can. Some parents will cheer them on. Others will be running laps too.
The runners will be sweating for a good reason.
The school is having a Jog-A-Thon to raise $4,000 to complete its edible garden.
Proceeds will also go toward other materials needed to encourage healthy eating and physical activity.
The pledge drive kicked off Thursday, May 24 and goes through June 1, the day of the Jog-A-Thon.
You can still sponsor a student or Parent-Teacher-Organization (PTO) officer.
