Update Tuesday on Silver Lake Conduit Project

A top Los Angeles Department of Water and Power executive will respond to concerns about air quality issues raised by construction around the Silver Lake Reservoir.

Ronald Nichols, General Manager of the LADWP, will come to Silver Lake Tuesday.

At a 7 p.m. meeting at the Silver Lake Presbyterian Church, he will address brewing neighborhood concerns about the impact of the Silver Lake Reservoir Storage Replacement Project on residents at the north and south ends of the reservoirs.

Jerome Courshon, who recently blogged about this for Patch, will outline those concerns, which include protection from particulate matter and noise, as well as property damage.
