Neighborhood Council Asks: What's Your Vision for Silver Lake?

All stakeholders are invited by the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council to a meeting Monday night.

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council cordially invites YOU to an "issues, goals & visions" meeting to help envision our neighborhood in the coming year and beyond.

Meet your neighborhood council people, learn about our committees and speak your mind.

The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30 at the Russian Church at 650 Micheltorena in Silver Lake.

Participants should come ready to share their issues, goals and visions for the neighborhood. They may also bring an object that represents their primary goal or vision.

Says SLNC Vice-Chair Charles Herman-Wurmfeld who is organizing the event, "For example, if you are interested in wind power, you might bring a feather to represent that. If you care about trash, you might bring a plastic bag."
