Hyperion Bridge, Gang Injunction on Silver Lake Neighborhood Council Agenda

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council will meet on Wednesday.

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday evening and will discuss items including the Hyperion Bridge, plastic bag bans, traffic mitigation and a recap of the SLNC's Aug. 7 meeting involving a gang injunction.

Among the many items on the agenda for Wednesday are:

  • Motion: Education & Outreach Committees – Homeless Flyer (proposal for SLNC to approve development, distribution and printing of a homelessness outreach flyer).
  • Motion: Johnson, Plante, Millar – August 7th, Gang Injunction Motion Resolution (proposal for SLNC to memorialize what took place at August 7th regarding Gang Injunction motion)
  • Motion: Joe & Dale – Plastic Bag Ban (proposal for SLNC to support statewide policy consistent with LA City and County bans on single-use bags).
  • Motion: Transportation & Public Works – Hyperion Bridge (proposal for SLNC to support letter to send to the District 7 Cal-Trans Headquarters pertaining to the Hyperion-Glendale Blvd Bridges Improvement Project).
  • Motion: Urban Design & Transportation Comm – Traffic Mitigation & Arbor Fund (proposal for SLNC to create a fund to underwrite various needs related to LADOT).
  • Motion: Education & Outreach Committees – Homeless Flyer (proposal for SLNC to approve development, distribution and printing of a homelessness outreach flyer).
