Taggers Bomb Handicapped Accessible Project in Silver Lake

Graffiti appeared on the wall and signs above the new curb at Bellevue Primary School this weekend.

Maybe you saw the crew working nights under bright lights at Silver Lake's Bellevue Primary School.

Patch first thought they were a film crew.

But, no, they were lowering the curb and smoothing down a wall to create a handicapped accessible way into the school from Micheltorena Street.

The crews haven't been there the last few days--though it looks like they're still waiting for the curb to dry.

But when Patch drove by Monday, the taggers had already hit.

You can see the result above.

New walls are tempting. Maybe it's time for someone to paint a Guadalupe there instead.
