CD 1 Candidate Gil Cedillo to Join Cesar Chavez March for Justice

More than 4,000 Angelenos will gather in Pacoima Saturday to honor the labor activist in advance of his birthday March 31.


Council District 1 candidate Gil Cedillo will March with over 4,000 Angelenos at the Annual Cesar Chavez March for Justice at Ritchie Valens Park in Pacoima.

The March is hosted by the Cesar E. Chavez Commemorative Committee of the San Fernando Valley in conjunction with Pueblo y Salud, Inc., a non-profit agency based in San Fernando

As the Chair of the Latino Legislative Caucus, Cedillo made the call for the boycott of Arizona when it passed regressive legislation directed at immigrants living in the state.

The march starts at 11 a.m.  The celebration is at 1 p.m. at 10731 Laurel Canyon blvd., Pacoima, CA 91331
