At noon Tuesday, anti-fracking activists and environmentalists, including members of the Sierra Club, CREDO and the Center for Biological Diversity, will call on Sen. Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, to vote to pass Senate Bill 1132, which would place a moratorium on the practice of pressurizing wells to fracture geologic structures and release hydrocarbons.

What do you think about fracking? Tell us in the comment section below.

Pushing Sand and Water back into fractured Rock is a really bad idea. Okay Duh. The sun is Free and we can use Solar but the Congressmen & Govt Cronies don't make $$s off of Sun Solar but all stand to make trillions from Fracking. At the expense of the people of course.

Its a twist, therir not even fracking. They tried banning it in Carson ca. but the community fought the ban and won. Environmentalist keep talking about the what could happen and this andthat... What will happen is jobs will be lost and none created... We can continue to please the middle east for oil, and we all know where that is taking us. Or tap our own resources and be independent...
