Anti-Fracking Activists Call on Sen. Kevin de Leon

At noon Tuesday, anti-fracking activists and environmentalists, including members of the Sierra Club, CREDO and the Center for Biological Diversity, will call on Sen. Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, to vote to pass Senate Bill 1132, which would place a moratorium on the practice of pressurizing wells to fracture geologic structures and release hydrocarbons.
