Update: Sketch of Cypress Park Attempted Abductor

LAPD's Northeast Division published the attached image early Friday afternoon.

LAPD's Northeast Division is asking for the public's help in finding the suspect in an attempted abduction Thursday morning in Cypress Park.

According to the alert from LAPD's Northeast Division headquarters, the attempted kidnapping occurred at 8:20 a.m. near Cypress Avenue and Silver Street on Thursday.

The suspect pulled the alleged victim towards him. He was in an older red "Toyota" pickup truck with tools in the back.

The would-be victim scratched the suspect, which may make him more recognizable.

She escaped unharmed and called police.
