Two Los Feliz Neighborhood Watch Groups May Combine

Members of the Franklin Hills Residents Associatoin (FHRA) and the Marshall Area Neighborhood Watch can get to know one another Saturday at the Prospect Studio.

The Marshall Area Neighborhood Watch, under the leadership of sometime Patch blogger , has been serving the area north of Franklin Hills around John Marshall High for a number of years.

Franklin Hills members will be voting on whether to revise by-laws to "move our boundaries north of Franklin/St. George to include all of the area between Tracy and Talmadge, most of the MANW territory."

There will also be presentations by law enforcement, and a giveaway of some very loud whistles to scare away coyotes.

To attend, you'll need to write RSVP@FranklinHills.org.

For more info about the Franklin Hills Residents Association go to their website at www.FranklinHills.org.

It includes historic photos of the area dating back to 1917, and a link to become an FHRA member.
