Thieves Pose as DWP Workers, Rob Silver Lake Man

Two men posing as employees of the Department of Water and Power ransacked an older man's home in Silver Lake Thursday.

Two men posing as employees of the Department of Water and Power ransacked an older man's home in Silver Lake Thursday.

It was located on the 800 block of N. Robinson St., in the Maltman Hills south of Sunset Boulevard.

The robbers turned on a number of water faucets and set to work.  Only after they left did the man realize the scam
