Stranded Hikers Rescued in Griffith Park Sunday
They were airlifted out of a remote area of the park Sunday afternoon.
Two stranded hikers were found uninjured Sunday in Griffith Park, city fire official said.
The stranded hikers were reported at 4:59 p.m. in a remote area of the wilderness, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Rescuers found the two, one male and one female, near steep terrain, Humphrey said.

The hikers were airlifted to safety, Humphrey said.
